Workshop Mechanic We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Workshop Mechanic to join our busy and growing workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in their work. Salary £12.50 £ 32.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities Carry out general servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles Diagnose mechanical faults efficiently and accurately Perform timing belt replacements and related engine work Conduct inspections and identify additional repair requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment Complete job cards and service records accurately Occasional driving duties, including vehicle testing, collection, or delivery Essential Requirements Fully qualified mechanic (relevant trade certification required) Proven experience working as a general mechanic Own tools suitable for professional workshop use Demonstrated experience with timing belts Full, clean driving licence Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Desirable (but not essential)

Experience with diagnostic equipment Knowledge of multiple vehicle makes and models MOT preparation experience (if applicable) Good customer communication skills
