Do you enjoy hands on work within construction or haulage or any aggregate / ready-mix concrete environment Comfortable logging information on a computer system and working to time frames
If so, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Concrete Batcher to join a well-established and growing organisation within the construction materials sector. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring high-quality ready-mix concrete is produced safely, efficiently, and delivered on time.
As a Concrete Batcher, you'll be responsible hands on coordinating orders, maintaining stock levels, planning vehicle dispatch and delivering excellent customer service.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high operational standards.
Full training will be given and a full driving license will be required.

Key Responsibilities
Following work orders, batch and dispatch ready-mix concrete safely and efficiently
Monitor material stock levels and arrange replenishment when required
Carry out routine daily inspections, maintenance checks and housekeeping
Process customer orders and maintain accurate records using company systems
Liaise with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and material movements
Maintain compliance with BSI standards and company procedures

Skills & Experience

Experience with in a construction or haulage or any aggregate / ready-mix concrete environment
Knowledge of ready-mix concrete, aggregates and bulk haulage
Strong communication and customer service skills
IT literate with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn systems
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to work under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively

Pay / Working Hours
£14 - £17  per hour depending on experience
From 6am starts until job finished - time and a half paid over 45 hours
Every other Saturday working required - more overtime available too!
