Construction Carpenters & Laborers

Overview

J.K. Bennett Construction is hiring carpenters and laborers for positions available immediately.

• Carpenters - 2 to 5 years experience required. Pay starting at $25+ DOE
• Laborers - 0 to 2 years experience. Pay starting at $18+ DOE

We are a General Contractor specializing in residential and light commercial remodels. Typical scopes of self-performed work include demolition, framing, concrete construction, and finish carpentry. All positions will be performing the same scope of work. (I.E. if your previous experience is strictly framing, you will also be required to learn and perform our other scopes of work.) We are looking for individuals that take pride in their work.

• Carpenters - Complete daily work tasks in unison with project foreman. Uphold level of quality and craftsmanship required by J.K. Bennett Construction. Problem solve on site and communicate with team members to complete projects in a timely and professional manner.
• Laborers - Assist Foreman and Carpenters with daily work tasks. Be prepared and think forward, always look to be one step ahead of those you are assisting. Learn daily on site to progress your career and strive for advancement. Ensure clean and tidy job site, tools, and equipment. Communicate with other team members.

• All positions are subject to a paid working interview.
• 40 hours PTO after 90 days. 80 hours after 180 days.
• All major holidays paid after 90 days.
• Performance bonus potential after 90 days.
