Location:

Rockville, MD.

The Billing Assistant will support our billing processes by ensuring timely and accurate billing, preparing monthly reports, and maintaining compliance with GAAP and FAR regulations.

• Review proposals and contracts to ensure the billing process is timely and accurate.
• Prepare monthly billing reports for project managers, process, post, print, and mail invoices to clients.
• Review monthly revenue and unbilled revenue to ensure compliance with GAAP and FAR regulations.
• Update project set-up in Deltek Vision and billing files as needed.
• Assist the Billing Manager and Controller during annual financial audit tasks related to billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1‑3 years of experience in Accounting or Office Administration.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with managers and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Post‑secondary education in Accounting or bookkeeping is a plus. Other combinations of education and experience in the Accounting/Office Administration field are acceptable.
