Position SummaryThe Administrative Assistant oversees RV Park operations, including reservations, guest service, billing reconciliation, and special events. This role also manages Guest Services by hiring, scheduling, and training part‑time team members, while providing administrative support to the General Manager and department leaders as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:RV PARK SERVICES
- Promote the Hoover Met Complex RV Park to generate maximum usage and revenue of the facility
- Coordinate RV Park events and guest experiences
- Manage RV Park reservations, guest communication, and customer service
- Process RV guest payments, reconciliations, and refunds
- Monitor security issues and notify appropriate Manager
- Monitor weather and notify patrons if emergency procedures are in effect
- Report necessary repairs needed to RV Lot
- Use and maintain proficiency in Campspot reservation software
- Support in the hiring process, training, developing and scheduling guest service team members
- Coordinates and provides "Guest First" training to ensure courteous and friendly first‑in‑class service to all guests
- Maintain front‑of‑house standards and enforce venue policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean space and perform regular walk‑throughs
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion with guests and Team Member information
- Professionally resolve guest concerns and complaints and/or direct to appropriate Manager
- Maintain a clean space and perform regular walk‑throughs (indoor/outdoor) to ensure venue front entrance and lobby cleanliness
- Know and enforce the venue policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and department leaders
- Manage office supply orders
- Responsible for evaluating and coordinating office supply orders
- Assist with general developing of procedures, presentations, and communications to support all Managers
- Assist in the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports
- Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, with reliable attendance
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain focused in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong customer service, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills
- Ability to work well with others in a professional and respectful manner
- Self‑motivated with a strong sense of initiative, ownership, and accountability
- Commitment to the safety and well‑being of guests and team members
- Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
- Will be required to operate a computer
- Facility has intermittent noise
