Subsidiary:

This internship is only available to high school students in NE Indiana.
Responsibilities- Learn AutoCAD fundamentals to prepare deck and joist layouts
- Help promote philanthropy activities to develop communication skills
- Prepare deck and joist layout plans and sections using AutoCAD
- Prepare RFI’s and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers and others
- Calculate joist and girder loading based on design loading provided on contract documents
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, production driven environment
- Meet schedules for assigned projects
- Other duties as necessary
- Candidates should have an interest in a career where they'll utilize 2D/3D Drafting & Modeling Software
- Candidates must be enrolled in a high school entering their senior year
- Must possess skills to solve Algebra problems
- Preferred cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.7
