  • Coordinate, extract, and analyze financial data for annual corporate income tax filings, sales and use tax filings, property tax filings, franchise tax filings, and statutory tax audits
  • Continuously determine economic and physical nexus thresholds; manage Voluntary Disclosure Agreements (VDAs) when mitigating historic exposure and work directly with applicable tax agencies to resolve legacy tax issues
  • Calculate, document, and monitor global transfer pricing methodologies to ensure compliance with arm's-length principles and international regulations
  • Prepare and post all tax-related journal entries and reconcile tax liability accounts within the general ledger, ensuring appropriate classification and adequate reserves
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement automated solutions to bridge ERP systems with tax compliance software
  • Manage, review and periodically audit the collection, validation, and renewal of sales tax exemption and resale certificates from customers and vendors
  • Perform UNICAP analysis under IRC Section 263A and assist external tax partners with R&D tax credit filing
  • Be a core contributor for key assigned areas to the month end close and annual audit processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Deep understanding of multi-state sales and use tax, corporate franchise tax, UNICAP rules, and international transfer pricing basics
  • Strong comprehension of U.S. GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced Excel data-modeling skills
  • Exceptional technical writing skills for responding to regulatory notices
  • Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities
  • Hands-on operational proficiency with Net Suite ERP
Education and Certifications
