Credit Products Commercial Loan Fulfillment Specialist
At Regions, the Credit Products Commercial Loan Fulfillment Specialist will orchestrate the closing process for all members of the Relationship Team and vendors associated with each loan. The closing process entails providing assistance by completing, collecting, and analyzing documents necessary for the extension of credit, booking the loan, resolving documentation exceptions post‑closing, and interacting with borrowers, outside counsel, bank associates, and a variety of third parties.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Draft and review loan documentation ranging from simple to high volume or high complexity for commercial purpose loans in a multi‑state environment
- Understand the risks associated with closing various types of commercial loans
- Obtain the necessary documents to evidence the debt and secure the loan
- Ensure the loan is closed per loan approval and that supporting documentation conforms to loan approval and policy
- Identify potential issues related to documentation, policy or regulatory requirement and remediate prior to closing
- Communicate frequently with business partners throughout the closing process
- Comply with departmental performance level metrics
- Contribute to the formulation of plans to mitigate risks
- Understand the client’s needs and identify opportunities to improve and resolve client service issues related to the extension of commercial credit
- Serve in a problem‑solving capacity by providing client service for loan products
- Address loan setup issues promptly to ensure system data integrity
- Partner with one or more of the following segments:
Commercial Banking, Branch Small Business, Private Wealth, Real Estate Banking (includes Home Builder Finance, Income Property Finance, Affordable Housing, Real Estate Corporate Banking), Regions Equipment Finance, Specialized & Diversified Industries, and Problem Asset Management - Support in Real Estate Banking, Regions Equipment Finance, Specialized & Diversified Industries, and Problem Asset Management includes ensuring loans are booked timely, disbursing loan proceeds in accordance with loan approval and packaging loan documents
- May assist with the training of team members in areas but not limited to loan documentation and compliance
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- Four (4) years of related banking experience
- General knowledge of insurance requirements and other property due diligence necessary for real estate transactions
- General knowledge of syndicated transactions and the ability to collaborate with Capital Markets and other lenders for agent and non‑agent deals if supporting Real Estate Banking, Regions Equipment Finance, Specialized & Diversified Industries, and Problem Asset Management
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous Commercial Banking and/or Commercial Equipment Leasing Experience
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Demonstrates knowledge of commercial credit, regulatory (including Bank Secrecy Act‑Anti‑Money Laundering Software, Beneficial Ownership, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Flood Regulations) and documentation policies
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under time constraints
- Responds with a sense of urgency
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Compensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $46,750.00 USD
Median: $57,270.00 USD
