Position: Director, Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) and Financial Due Diligence (FDD)

We are taking Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) to the next level. At Embarc, the Financial Due Diligence / Quality of Earnings is integrated into the M&A Advisory process and deal negotiations. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize and expand your expertise in Financial Due Diligence while playing a pivotal role in M&A execution and Strategic Finance for growth-focused companies.

We are continuing to build our team and looking for a senior member to join this effort.

As the Director, Transaction Advisory Services and Financial Due Diligence, you will discover and unlock opportunities around key value drivers for our clients, as you lead the financial due diligence process and undertake all that it entails. Similar to M&A advisory, we believe the FDD industry is ripe for disruption.

While playing a pivotal role in the management of client relationships, you will lay the groundwork to thoroughly understand businesses historical performance and will formulate the starting point for any future projections. As a firm focused on startups and middle-market firms, you will have opportunities to provide value to clients at the very early stages of our engagements, as they often commence with an internal quality of earnings.

Clients will come to trust and rely on you and your team for the practical and quantifiable information necessary to make critical business decisions that facilitate execution of their strategic objectives.

Detailed Responsibilities
  • Leads the end-to-end project management, work plan development, process, and project execution. Manages client team to deliver project goals in a timely and resource efficient manner. Effectively communicate across all stakeholders. Drive optimal outcomes for all stakeholders, while meeting and/or exceeding client expectations.
  • Independently manage due diligence, quality of earnings, and other transaction advisory related services to support Embarc clients that are looking at growing through acquisitions or preparing for sale.
  • Develops and prepares audience-appropriate materials, including quality of earnings databooks and financial due diligence reports etc.
  • Analyzes financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
