Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Iron City Counseling is a private mental health group practice located in Hoover, Alabama. We are a practice of licensed clinicians who provide quality mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and/or families. Currently, we are seeking a Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT); to provide individual, couples and/or family counseling.

• Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment
• Prepare and maintain all required treatment records
• Individual therapy, to include assessment, treatment planning, and weekly individual sessions.
• Maintain a minimum of 25 clients per week
• Complete all charting, patient file updates, research, follow-up, and any other administrative work as needed for each patient
• Successful and adequate completion of the above responsibilities requires a minimum of 30 working hours per week

• Master’s degree or higher
• Licensed LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
• Good Verbal and Written Communication
• Current insurance panel credentialing is strongly preferred.
• Must have a reliable laptop

• ICC advertises its services as a practice throughout the community. Therefore, clients that come to ICC for counseling will be considered clients of the practice, and not clients of the individual counselor, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. ICC endeavors to assist in matching new clients with its counselors based on need, client load, specific client needs, and other considerations.
