* Position Summary:
** Support core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment & onboarding, compliance, training & development and benefits & well-being administration. Ensures compliance with policies and provide guidance to team members and supervisors. Oversee facility level programs to support employee engagement.#
Duties / Responsibilities:
* Assist with policy interpretation, offer guidance to leaders and team members, and support ongoing compliance tracking
* Support employee relations investigations and documentation
* Deliver training and coach supervisors on performance management and corrective actions
* Interview, select and lead onboarding & orientation activities and processes
* Participate in the planning and execution of morale-building activities and recognition programs
* Support the coordination and facilitation of all facility engagement activities (workshops, surveys, etc)
* Ensure HRIS data integrity and support related transactions in Workday and complete compliance related forms and documents
* Support change management efforts and foster a culture of continuous improvement#
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* 1-3 years of HR experience
* Working knowledge of employment law and HR systems
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
* Experience with HR Payroll/ Timekeeping systems
* Microsoft Word and Excel experience
* Trustworthy – capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
* Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization#
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling
* Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
* Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
* Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
