Purpose Of The Position

Purpose Of The PositionReporting to the Director for HR Innovation and Technology, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Manager for Benefits and Employee Services, this position provides cross-functional HRIS, benefits, and employee services support by assuming recurring operational, data, reporting, system, and vendor-related responsibilities. Upon hire, the incumbent will maintain day-to-day operations while key staff dedicate significant time to the ERP implementation.
Duties/Responsiblities Benefits Systems & Vendor Interfaces- Manage Banner benefits functionality, deduction/benefit data, vendor files, file reconciliation, error resolution, eligibility interfaces, and vendor coordination.
- Manage merit, annual salary processes, benefit-related annual processes, HR data validation, and other cyclical HRIS activities.
- Support HR compliance initiatives and projects, and the associated data reconciliation, training, and reporting.
- Coordinate Title II digital accessibility requirements and document remediation tracking, inventories, and coordination with appropriate
- Assist in maintaining Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance records and data. Other projects as assigned.
- Manage reconciliations, audits, exception reporting, process documentation, and data-quality controls.
- Manage current-state documentation, conversion validation, testing, and knowledge transfer from Banner to Oracle.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4–6 years of progressively responsible full-time verifiable work experience in Human Resources or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Experience utilizing HR vendor interfaces, eligibility files, or recurring data
exchanges.
- Experience reconciling HR, payroll or benefits data and resolving discrepancies.
- Knowledge of HR data confidentiality, controls and audit requirements.
- Working knowledge of digital accessibility requirements and document remediation, or ability to develop expertise.
- Advanced Excel or data analysis skills with emphasis on the use of VLOOKUP,
HLOOKUP.
- Ability to independently manage recurring processes with payroll, benefits, and compliance deadlines.
- Strong background in Human Resources and Human Resources Information Systems is strongly desired.
- Strong experience using Ellucian HCM (Banner
9), employee/job and
- Experience with ePAFs or electronic personnel transactions is strongly desired.
- Experience with ARGOS or similar reporting tools is preferred.
$60,000 - $72,000
