Position: Discretionary Incentive Administration Analyst

Job Description

At Regions, the Incentive Analyst helps to administer corporate line of business incentive plans. This position develops and provides reporting from incentive applications.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis required to recommend plan design changes and to help with sales performance
  • Develop models to determine incentive plan payouts
  • Interact with various levels of management concerning incentive plan design and payouts and sales performance
  • Work as a liaison with technology/vendors and end users to address user issues
  • Audit and validate results between the systems of record and end results as needed
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as requested
  • Lead a team of associates
  • Maintain specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline or function
  • Interpret internal or external issues and recommend solutions/best practices
  • Solve complex problems and take a broad perspective to identify solutions
  • Work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of related experience
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of incentive experience
Preferences
  • Banking experience
  • Experience with Systems, Applications, & Products in Data Processing (SAP) Commissions software
  • Database reporting with tools such as Crystal Reports and Structured Query Language (SQL) Reporting
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to learn software/business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to multitask
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills and a strong working knowledge of Access and Power Point

Prior credit experience preferred for the scorecard auditing portion of this position.

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in‑office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Pay ranges are job‑specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors that directly impact pay for individual associates include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

  • Minimum: $96,146.05 USD
  • Median: $ USD
