Data Engineer

Work Location:

HUNTSVILLE, AL. INCATech is seeking a Data Engineer to support a Department of Justice customer in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will support data migration, data architecture, ETL, and data quality activities for a large enterprise application modernization effort. This role requires a practical data engineer who can build reliable pipelines, support migration from legacy environments, and design data structures optimized for both transactions and analysis.

• Design and build data pipelines using tools such as SSIS.
• Manage ETL processes and support data migration activities.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across application data flows.
• Optimize data workflows for performance.
• Create and maintain data architecture optimized for transactional and/or analytical use.
• Collaborate with application developers, architects, testers, and government stakeholders to support modernization requirements.

• Minimum four (4) years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited institution (optional).
• Certifications:
  
  Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Data Engineer Associate (optional).
