Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
Overview
This position provides analytics services to the business, delivering insights, measurement frameworks, and data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making across key initiatives. You will lead analytics efforts across a diverse portfolio of business programs, including AI/ML initiatives, product enhancements, operational improvements, and customer experience efforts.

- Work with business partners to develop and deliver key performance analysis and reporting.
- Build and maintain models used to project business results; enhance models where business value exists.
- Ensure analysis and reporting accuracy, explain performance drivers, and provide insights into performance trends.
- Create, execute, and maintain forecasting models; explain underlying assumptions and inter-workings.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders and leadership, recommending actions to address business changes, trends, and issues.
- Evaluate, design, test, and maintain data/analytics systems; recommend new tools and system enhancements.
- Develop, test, and deploy complex automated reporting solutions and decision analytics to replace manual processes.
- Define standard analytics and reporting governance, communication, and ensure adherence to standards.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer‑driven solutions, support, or service.
- Solid knowledge of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, or data mining.
- Experience using software tools to query and report data.
- Experience with standard reporting software packages and best practices for report deployment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex concepts and unbiased fact‑based decisions.
- Experience developing complex datasets for widespread use.
- Lead end‑to‑end analytics and experimentation for AI/ML programs, including use‑case discovery, measurement definition, data requirements, and post‑launch monitoring.
- Partner with Data Science, Product, and Engineering to translate AI problems into clear analytical questions and define success metrics such as recall, drift, and fairness.
- Develop scalable datasets, feature/label definitions, and analytical pipelines ensuring data quality, lineage, and governance readiness for AI products.
- Develop dashboards and recurring insights on model health and adoption, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Establish best practices for AI analytics, including documentation, reproducible analysis, experiment design, metric standards, and model monitoring/validation requirements.
- Mentor analysts and influence standards across the team; communicate insights to executives through crisp narratives, visuals, and recommendations.
You will work 10 days per month from the office. You should reside within approximately 35‑50 miles of one of the following office locations:
Madison, WI 53783;
Boston, MA 02110.
