The Cybersecurity Engineer IV will support services for cloud applications, infrastructure, platform security, and related technologies within the Cyber Security organization. As a subject-matter expert (SME), this role requires extensive experience and technical knowledge to lead complex projects and ensure the safety and protection of organizational technology and assets. Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support relevant cybersecurity technology solutions. Provide technical administration, including troubleshooting, support, break-fix operations, patching, and other day-to-day activities. Stay updated on industry trends and ensure team awareness of organizational objectives and needs. Review and maintain operational documentation and reports to support monthly trend analysis and project components. Lead research, proof-of-concept, selection, and implementation of technology solutions. Conduct advanced analysis of pros and cons and build vs.

Examine technology vision, opportunities, and challenges regarding security standards and their impact on the organization. Develop and maintain relevant metrics, controls, and governance administration related to cybersecurity technology. Participate in on-call rotation for the support of cybersecurity technologies. Collaborate with management and other teams on projects to align with organizational goals.

Assist in developing technical skills and knowledge among team members. Serve as a mentor and role model, adhering to operational processes, standards, and procedures. Lead security incident response activities and post-event reviews as needed. Act as a subject-matter expert for the design, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions. Lead complex projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security and/or Information Technology. Preferences:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with in a Cyber and/or Information Security organization in the financial services industry. Applicable technology and/or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, MCSA). Skills and

Ability to prioritize conflicting demands. Ability to work independently. Advanced analytical and evaluative thinking capability. Advanced knowledge of modern security tools and controls. Advanced problem-solving skills to address complex issues. Strong knowledge of common web technologies, cloud technologies, and enterprise and network architecture. Strong knowledge of defense in depth, trust levels, privileges, and permissions. Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.

Pay Range: $70 - $72/hr w2 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
