POSITION:
Bilingual Immigration Attorney – Removal Defense

IDEAL CANDIDATE:Well-organized individual with strong writing skills, who is self-motivated, able to handle a caseload, speaks Spanish fluently, and is interested in working with the immigrant community.
HOURS:Full-time

B. Love, Managing Attorney
- Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court (EOIR)
- Prepare and file applications for relief, including asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, and habeas petitions
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys on case strategy and court preparation
- Counsel and advise clients on removal defense strategies and available forms of relief
- Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda in support of removal defense cases
- Participate in community legal clinics and workshops
- Engage in ongoing trainings and CLEs on immigration law
- J.D. (or expected by May 2026)
- Member in good standing of a state bar or sitting for the July 2026 bar
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Strong legal writing ability
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience in immigration law or working with the immigrant community is a plus
