Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover is seeking motivated Student Nurse Aides (SNAs) who have successfully completed Nursing Fundamentals, Pharmacology, and Medication Administration.
3rd and 4th semester nursing students are especially encouraged to apply.
This is more than a part-time job—it's an opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses, strengthen your clinical skills, build confidence, and prepare for your future RN or LPN career while earning income during nursing school.
Unlike many clinical rotations, you'll become an important member of our healthcare team while developing meaningful relationships with residents throughout their recovery journey.

What You'll Do- Obtain vital signs, pulse oximetry, blood glucose, and other delegated assessments
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and feeding
- Perform restorative nursing care, including ambulation and range-of-motion exercises
- Assist with approved ostomy care
- Perform peripheral venipuncture for laboratory specimens
- Apply oxygen via nasal cannula
- Administer approved medications and treatments within Board of Nursing guidelines
- Assist with simple dressing changes
- Document resident care in the electronic medical record
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
- Currently enrolled in an approved school of nursing
- Successfully completed:
- Nursing Fundamentals
- Pharmacology
- Medication Administration
- Documentation from nursing program verifying successful completion of required coursework
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th semester of an accredited nursing program
Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required
