As a Registered Nurse at South Haven Health & Rehabilitation, you'll provide exceptional clinical care while leading a dedicated team of nursing professionals. You'll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure every resident receives personalized, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional resident-centered nursing care
- Complete resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Develop and update individualized care plans
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants
- Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Foster a safe, respectful, and healing environment for residents
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
- Current BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
- Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience
- Charge Nurse or leadership experience
