Position OverviewAs a Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide skilled nursing care while monitoring resident health, responding to changes in condition, and ensuring residents receive compassionate, high-quality care throughout the night.
You'll work alongside an experienced clinical team committed to providing exceptional care in a supportive, resident-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver compassionate nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents throughout the night and report changes in condition
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants
- Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Promote a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment
- Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
- Compassionate, resident-centered approach
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing
