Job Description:
Position Summary:The Repair Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out and documenting various investigations related to existing, potential, and perceived product and process failures received back from the field. Assisting the Repair Coordinator team with troubleshooting and production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct hands‑on troubleshooting of Orascoptic manufactured Medical Devices (e.g., loupe and light systems); determine root‑cause and document necessary repair / rework required to bring product back to 100% performance criteria.
- Document repair/rework in Oracle.
- Update complaint record (Q‑module) with evaluation findings.
- Interact with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service in a collaborative team environment.
- Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality.
- Read, comprehend, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs).
- Participate in continuous improvement activities through the Envista Business System (EBS) including Kaizens, 5S events, Standard Work workshops, Kanban, and Kamishibai.

Education and Experience:- High school or equivalent preferred.
- High attention to detail and patience required.
- Versatile and able to work on multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with an electronic process for managing and documenting product failure analysis (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Access, Excel).
- Able to understand product applications, specifications, functionality, structure, assembly, and test methods/processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
- Constantly uses hands and fingers to perform fine adjustments.
- Constantly sits.
- Occasionally reaches up/down with arms.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
