Outside Sales – Northern Alabama ​/ Greater Huntsville Area

Bertelkamp Automation is an industry leading factory automation distributor. We are looking for an Outside Sales Engineer to help strengthen, preserve, and grow our market in the northern AL / Greater Huntsville Area.

• Must have experience in technical sales or experience applying pneumatic and electromechanical components, control systems for automated equipment, or industrial robotic systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
• First-hand knowledge of industrial markets in the northern AL/Huntsville area and surrounding areas.
• Based in northern AL or greater Huntsville area
• Must have experience and product knowledge necessary to service existing customer base immediately.
• Capable of developing new customers in the first year.
• Highly professional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and solve technical problems and applications.
• Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships with decision makers.
• Competitive, results-oriented person with proven record of success.
