U‑Haul is seeking a Mechanical Express Specialist to perform repairs and maintain our fleet of trucks and trailers. The role requires the use of proprietary technology, diagnostic tools, and adherence to U‑Haul’s high standards.

• Repair equipment using appropriate tools to conform to U‑Haul standards.
• Effectively follow work‑order directions and complete work in a timely manner.
• Determine causes of operating errors and decide on corrective actions.
• Identify and communicate issues clearly in positive or negative situations.
• Engage in continued U‑Haul equipment education.
• Assist in additional areas as directed by supervisors.

• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of automotive and trailer mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

The role involves moderate risks such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals, and may require protective clothing or gear like masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Work includes long periods indoors or outdoors while standing, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. (assisted or unassisted).
