Location

Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Collision Center (Hoover) – 1624 Montgomery Highway, Hoover, Alabama 35216.

Summary

Responsible for identifying and performing necessary body repair work in accordance with factory and Collision Center specifications. No direct supervisory responsibilities. Performs body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examines body damage on customer vehicles.
  • Identifies necessary body repair work.
  • Estimates cost of body work.
  • Requests necessary parts.
  • Performs body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts.
  • Documents repairs performed.
  • Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participates in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the company’s core values.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local, and company safety rules and regulations in performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Attendance Expectations

Position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and perform tasks such as hearing, talking, standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must pass OSHA respiratory medical exam.

Environment Demands

Work performed primarily in the Collision Center. Duties include movement of vehicle body parts, use of power tools and test equipment, and exposure to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, paint dust, and other collision center conditions. Frequent interaction with customers, estimators, and management.
