This position coordinates the daily receipts of Purchase Orders (inventory and non-inventory). You will also serve as primary back-up to the Inventory Control Coordinator, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Physical receipt of Purchase Orders and processing electronically into Dynamics.
- Organization of inventory and non-inventory items in the warehouses to comply with related procedures.
- Restocking of Finished Good shelves with received product or product from the overstock area.
- Inventory transfers, including Marketing Literature, Manufacturing Supplies and manufacturer-labeled distributed Finished Goods items.
- Stage and receive shipments of Manufacturing Orders to outside processors.
- Maintain records for Data/temperature Loggers in the warehouses.
- Execution of Cycle Counts for Home Office.
- Inter-building transport of materials, as needed.
- Back-up for all duties performed by the Materials Control Coordinator, II.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma Required
- One year experience with increasing responsibilities in inventory control and/or warehouse related function preferred.
- Attention to detail with excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel desired
