Director of Youth Ministries

Hope Methodist Church is an independent Methodist Church located in Hope, AR.

This is a part-time hybrid role for the Director of Youth Ministries at Hope Methodist Church, located in Hope, AR. The Director of Youth Ministries will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of youth programs and activities, including Bible studies, outreach initiatives, and spiritual development programs. Responsibilities include building relationships with youth, providing guidance and pastoral care, collaborating with church leadership, and ensuring that programs align with the church’s mission and values.

• Experience in planning and leading Youth Programs and activities
• Strong knowledge and experience in developing and leading Bible Study and Religious Education sessions
• Excellent Communication skills to engage with youth, parents, and church staff effectively
• Ability to provide compassionate Pastoral Care and spiritual guidance to youth
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
• A strong background in Wesleyan/Methodist theology, experience, certifications, and skills will all be considered. A Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience working with church youth ministries is an advantage.
