In-School Suspension Supervisor
Supervise students in In-School Suspension, keep a structured and positive environment, and help students complete their classwork while following school rules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and monitor students in ISS at all times.
- Collect and return student assignments to teachers.
- Help students with classwork as needed.
- Keep accurate attendance and behavior records.
- Encourage positive behavior and good choices.
- Maintain confidentiality about student discipline.
- Perform other duties assigned by the principal.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED and successful completion of the Paraprofessional Exam OR
- Associate degree OR
- At least 60 college credit hours
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators.
Must provide three references, including at least two from a previous supervisor or teacher.
