Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year, based on experience

We are seeking an experienced Director of Therapy & Rehabilitation Services to oversee the daily operations, clinical performance, and strategic direction of rehabilitation services at a healthcare facility in Hope, Arkansas.
This role will provide leadership across both inpatient swing bed and outpatient therapy services while supervising and supporting PT and PTA staff. The Director will also perform PT evaluations and collaborate with physicians, facility leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
- Provide supervision, clinical guidance, and support to PT and PTA staff.
- Perform physical therapy evaluations as needed.
- Develop and implement effective therapy programs and treatment plans.
- Monitor clinical performance, patient outcomes, and quality of care.
- Ensure compliance with Arkansas state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Support budgeting, operational efficiency, and department development.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Adapt to a smaller team environment and a mixed inpatient/outpatient caseload.
- Active Arkansas Physical Therapist (PT) License
. - Current AHA BLS Certification
. - NPI number required
. - 2–5 years of management or leadership experience in a therapy setting.
- Experience supervising PT and PTA staff.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Familiarity with EMR and therapy documentation systems.
- Strong time management and adaptability in mixed clinical settings.
- Flu vaccination and vaccination records required.
- Prior experience in a rural or critical access hospital.
- Experience with both inpatient and outpatient therapy services.
- Experience with swing bed rehabilitation.
- Tru Bridge/CPSI EMR experience strongly preferred.
- Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year, based on experience
