Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support our manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical and electromechanical systems. This role is strongly focused on industrial electrical systems, PLC hardware, controls, and advanced troubleshooting in a fast‑paced production environment. The ideal candidate brings proven industrial electrical experience, solid mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Must be flexible to work other shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, PLC hardware, control panels, and production equipment
  • Perform advanced electrical diagnostics using meters, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Support PLC‑related troubleshooting, component replacement, and basic controls support
  • Maintain and repair manufacturing machinery and facility systems to maximize uptime and efficiency
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical prints, and equipment manuals
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Fabricate and modify components using machine shop tools (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.) as needed
  • Perform welding and cutting (MIG, TIG, stick, torch) when required
  • Work with motors, drives, gear reducers, hydraulics, and pneumatics in an industrial environment
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and comply with all electrical and plant safety standards
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve equipment and process issues
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Documented industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and production equipment
  • Strong knowledge of motors, controls, sensors, PLCs, and electrical distribution systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Proficiency using electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, ammeters, etc.)
  • Experience working with PLC‑controlled equipment (hardware troubleshooting required)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a production setting
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to breakdowns
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical school, military training, or Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical
  • Valid electrician's license or equivalent certification
  • PLC troubleshooting experience beyond basic component replacement
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Extrusion or heavy manufacturing experience is a plus
