Hatchery Worker Labor HY01, 1st Shift - Hope, AR

Hatchery Team Member

This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Team member will feed separator which includes bending and stooping to remove trays from hatcher dolly

• Team member will perform sanitation on empty hatcher racks.

• Team member will grade out eggshells and cull chicks on a moving conveyor at a rapid speed.

• Team member will receive clean trays from the tray washer and place back into the empty hatcher racks.

• Team member may be used in other areas of the Hatchery when needed

• Ability to stand and work in stationary position throughout 8–9-hour shift.

• Must be willing to accept and carry through on request and directions given.

• Must be able to use repetitive motions throughout 8–9-hour shift.

• Must be willing to learn other duties (as needed)

• Moderate amount of stooping and bending to accomplish task

Compensation: $17.10/hr.

Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 a.m. until processing is complete. Wednesdays are rotational and will be required to work when scheduled.

  If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.

• Rehire waiting period: 6 months or 180 days.
