Case Manager/ Administrative Assistant
Rate: $20/hour

Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Hopewell is looking to add a Case Manager/
Administrative Assistant to its team. In this role, you ll provide clerical support to facility leadership, coordinate office activities, prepare reports and correspondence, assist with insurance authorization clinical reviews and Notice of Medicare Non-Coverage (NOMNC) correspondence, and help ensure the office operates efficiently while delivering excellent service to residents, families, and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the Administrator, Human Resources Director, and department managers
- Manage calendars, meetings, correspondence, and administrative files
- Prepare reports, letters, calendars, flyers, and other facility documents
- Record and distribute meeting minutes
- Complete insurance authorization clinical reviews and Notice of Medicare Non-Coverage (NOMNC) correspondence
- Maintain resident and facility records, policy manuals, and other administrative documentation
- Serve as backup receptionist as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to file paperwork, answer and transfer calls, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to maintain professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail
