Construction Assistant Superintendent

Speedwell Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the field operations of a commercial construction project. This is a project-based contract position expected to last through project completion.

Candidates interested in future opportunities beyond this project may be considered for continued employment on other projects, particularly those willing to travel.

• Support daily field operations and project execution
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and scheduling activities
• Help maintain jobsite safety, quality, and production goals
• Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
• Participate in inspections, owner visits, and project meetings
• Support punch list and project closeout activities
• Work directly alongside experienced Superintendents and Project Teams

• Experience in commercial or residential construction
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Experience working across multiple construction trades
• Multi‑story construction experience
• Post-tension concrete experience
• CPR/First Aid Certification
