Project Manager, Operations Manager

Seeking a Project Manager to join the Capital Projects group, reporting directly to the Capital Projects Manager. This role will lead multiple small-to-mid-sized capital projects from early concept through construction and closeout within a process manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with a strong mechanical or process background and experience in process safety environments such as chemicals, refining, or similar industries.

• Manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, primarily smaller-scale initiatives
• Lead projects from conceptual development through engineering, procurement, construction, and completion
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and execution strategies
• Solicit and evaluate contractor bids and vendor proposals
• Work closely with vendors to develop preliminary pricing and technical solutions
• Define project requirements and determine when to engage engineering firms or specialty consultants
• Collaborate cross-functionally with:
• Operations teams
• Construction managers
• Contractors and field personnel
• Ensure alignment with plant safety standards, particularly in a process safety environment
• Oversee project execution to ensure schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to leadership

Project management, Project Engineering, Capital projects experience, CAD experience, PSM experience, HVAC or Material handling knowledge or background a plus. Strong technical problem-solving ability
