Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician, Automation & Mechatronics Engineer
Blueprint Automation is a leading manufacturer of packaging machines, specializing in designing and producing systems that efficiently pack products like chips, candy, cheese, and dishwasher tablets into boxes or flexible bags. Each machine is custom-built to meet the unique requirements of BPA’s clients.
Key Responsibilities- Installation & Commissioning:
Set up and test packaging machines at customer sites to ensure optimal performance. - Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues during and after installation. - Customer Training:
Educate clients on machine operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of service visits, machine performance, and customer feedback. - Travel:
Frequent international travel to customer locations for on-site support.
- 30-45 minutes near an airport and valid US passport
- 3-5 years of mechanical experience
- Ability to read schematics and use of hand tools (will need to disassemble and reassemble)
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical
- Ability to use multimeter (need to be able to troubleshoot connectivity)
- Relay switches, HMIs, PLCs, Cont actors, relays, motors, (may need to do controls upgrade)
- 7+ years of programming experience - MUST have experience writing code from scratch in the field
- Rockwell Studio 5000 (an Allen Bradley company)
- Factory Talk Studio
- US Citizen
- Customer facing experience
- Manufacturing or automation background
- Degree in Mechatronics, Controls, or Electric Trade
- Controls engineer background
