Job Overview

We are looking for an Ortho Joint and Spine Registered Nurse to join Tri Cities Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare. The role offers a sign‑on bonus of up to $15,000 and a total rewards package that supports your health, life, career, and retirement.

• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with department standards and state and specialty practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive and compassionate care.
• Assess the patient’s condition at admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and ensure thorough and timely documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate needs and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects and follow‑up measures, ensuring understanding by translating complex terminology.

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact multistate license that permits practice in Virginia.
• Experience in orthopedics, joint surgery, or spine nursing is highly desirable.
