Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Nurse
Job Summary:
Creekside Post Acute, a leading provider of short-term and long-term skilled rehab services, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Nurse to join our team in Hopewell, VA. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, focusing on wound prevention, wound care, ostomy care, and incontinence management.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage residents with draining wounds, fistulae, and/or tubes
- Provide education to residents undergoing surgery resulting in an ostomy, including pre- and post-operative assessments and resident and family education
- Make written or oral reports concerning the activities of your shift, as required
- Ensure all nursing service personnel comply with procedures set forth in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Nurse, you will have the opportunity to integrate research findings into clinical practice, demonstrating knowledge and skills to develop and implement effective care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care to our residents, promoting their overall health and well-being.
