As a Security Guard Full Time Hospital Patient Support in Hopewell, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Healthcare Security Professional, supporting a caring hospital environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and exceptional customer service. You will help address security-related incidents, assist with access control, and support staff, patients, and visitors in sensitive areas, including morgue operations and behavioral health situations.

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with location procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
