Summary / Objective

Enviro Smart is seeking a qualified Industrial Services Superintendent to support the Industrial Services division in Hopewell, Virginia, and surrounding areas. Minimum of 10 years experience performing and overseeing hydro blasting and leading crews of 3 or more technicians. Must be qualified to manage multiple industrial service crews at different sites, with direct experience operating industrial vacuum units and high‑pressure water‑blast units to perform industrial cleaning.

Performance is measured for Safety, Quality, and Value delivered to the project and company. Working conditions include outside work, extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, shift work, flexible schedules and 24/7 on‑call availability.

• Manage Safety, Quality, and Value for all industrial service‑related project performance activities.
• Operate vacuum equipment, large industrial cleaning equipment, vehicles, and hydro blasting.
• Handle other industrial cleaning related activities.
• Manage scheduling and logistics for multiple crews.

• 30‑Hour OSHA (Required)
• MSHA (Required)
• Confined Space Entry (Required)
• 40‑HR HAZWOPER (Preferred, training provided)
• Forklift Certified (Preferred, not required)

• 10+ years management experience in the industrial field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
• Clean driving record and valid state motor vehicle operator’s license (Required).

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and maintain body positions required for long periods.
• Control industrial hydro blasting and vacuum equipment.
• Carry industrial hoses (up to 60 lbs) up and down multiple flights of stairs.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Complete all required training.

• Shift work, flexible schedules and 24/7 on‑call availability.
• Typical week:
  Monday–Friday, 8–10 hours per day.

• Commute to job site each day.
• Stay out of town for multiple nights.

• Manage crews of vacuum truck drivers, technicians, and laborers.
• Responsible for timesheets, project performance metrics, recruiting/hiring, and execution of work schedules.
