HVAC Technician

HVAC Technician | Direct Hire

Location: Hopewell, VA

Salary: $48,516.00 - $76,945.00 per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday |
Shift: 7 AM-3:30 PM or 9 AM-5 PM

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a technical or trade school program in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Experience in a school district, educational facility, or institutional environment preferred.
• Valid HVAC Technician license or certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, refrigeration, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical HVAC issues.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Virginia driver's license required.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Availability for on-call rotations, emergency response, and occasional weekend work.
