Valid Minnesota Secondary School Principal License (required)

Advanced degree (preferred)

Proven track record of equity-centered, transformational leadership

Experience leading large, diverse teams in complex educational environments

Deep understanding of culturally responsive pedagogy, restorative practices, and data-driven decision making

Strong relationship-building, communication, and collaboration skills

Compensation and Benefits

  • District-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage options with generous annual allowances
  • VEBA (HRA) contributions and 403(b) matching up to $5,700 annually
  • Life insurance (2x annual salary) and Long-Term Disability % income protection
  • 15 paid sick days, 3 personal days, and paid holidays (including Juneteenth)

  • Retirement severance benefits up to 50% of final annual salary

Compensation

This is a 12-month, full-time position governed by the Hopkins Association of School Administrators (HASA) Master Agreement.

Salary Range: $162,617 – $179,839 depending on experience and qualifications, plus educational stipends (up to $2,500 for advanced degrees).
