SummaryThe Preschool Teacher substitute follows the lesson plans of the absent teacher; prepares and leads developmentally appropriate classroom activities; supervises the classroom staff and volunteers; maintains a clean and safe classroom; coordinates classroom schedule and routine.
Requirements- BA Degree.
- Teaching license in early childhood preferred.
- Experience working with young children preferred.
- Teaching license preferred.
- Education in and/or experience working with young children; understanding of preschool child development; good communication, cooperation, self-direction, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with other staff members; punctuality and dependability.
4 - 8 hours per day, year round need. HEA Union Contract.
