Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and making a positive impact as a Special Education Teacher. We are seeking two dedicated professionals for the upcoming school year to fill openings at the elementary (grades 1-4, high-needs) and high school (resource/push-in) levels. These positions offer the chance to work within a supportive team environment that prioritizes collaboration, manageable caseloads, and meaningful student outcomes.
KeyQualifications &
Experience:
- Active Minnesota Special Education license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and supervise paraprofessionals
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Direct experience managing IEPs and due process tasks
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs
- Deliver direct and indirect special education services tailored to individual student needs
- Oversee a caseload of no more than 15 students, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and due process requirements
- Provide academic and behavioral support in both resource and push-in settings (high school) or high-needs settings (elementary)
- Supervise and mentor paraprofessional staff in daily responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, SPED Coordinator, Due Process Specialist, and SPED Coach
- Receive dedicated time during the school day for IEP and due process documentation
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Competitive hourly compensation between $38-44 (W2 contract)

- Structured work schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:30am-3:00pm;
