Hopkins Public Schools is seeking Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teachers and a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students eligible for Extended School Year (ESY) services. These positions will work in a self-contained classroom setting, serving students with moderate to severe disabilities. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, direct instruction, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

• Licensure & Credentials for Speech Pathologist: Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

  Provide direct speech therapy, collaborate with special education staff, and consult with teachers to support students’ communication needs.
• IEP Implementation: Develop and carry out ESY-specific IEP goals and objectives.
• Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC): Familiarity with AAC systems and strategies to support students with complex communication needs.
• Team Consultation: Provide expertise and training for multi-disciplinary teams and paraprofessionals.

• Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting.
• Interest in supporting students with diverse learning and communication needs.
