Zenith Service sis dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses by supporting their success in diverse work environments. We operate a Day Program located in Hopkins, MN that can support up to 50 individuals, and we offer a range of Vocational Services as well. At Zenith Services, we foster an atmosphere where individuals are supported to pursue their dreams and goals while becoming active participants in their communities!

Job Title:Vocational Direct Support Professional

Location:Hopkins, MN

Schedule:Monday-Friday 7:30a- 3:30p

Wage:$20 per hour (including Full-Time or Part-Time benefits based on schedule)

Job Summary:

As a Vocational Direct Support Professional, you will support our persons served with structured activities at the Zenith Services Day Program located in Hopkins, MN. The Day Program is focused on creating vocational opportunities for individuals with disabilities, helping them pursue their dreams, make meaningful choices, and become active members of their communities.

• Personal cares including bathroom supports and medication administration
• Accompanying individuals into the community to participate in a variety of activities
• Facilitating personal choice and promoting self-advocacy
• Helping others understand the individual’s capabilities
• Following specific behavior plans and program goals
• Working to improve the quality of life for those we serve

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficiency in spoken and written English language
• Comfortable with personal cares for males and females
• Must be comfortable driving large passenger vehicle
• Have a vehicle with current car insurance
• Have an acceptable driving record as determined by Meridian Services policy.
• Have a Wi-Fi-enabled device for work related purpose
• Successful clearance from a DHS Background Study

Preferred Experience:

• Experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mental health diagnosis
• Experience working with individuals with verbal and physical aggressions
