Salesforce Developer

The Client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to lead and participate in development activities across multiple Salesforce platforms. This role involves building and unit testing components, guiding a development team, collaborating with architects for proof of concepts, and enhancing Dev Ops processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce core capabilities, enterprise integration, and agile methodologies, with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently build and unit test Salesforce components, and work with Dev/QA teams to resolve code and configuration-based defects.
• Lead development teams, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Partner with architects to lead proof of concepts and evaluate/document new designs, integrations, patterns, and practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce capabilities such as Apex, LWCs, flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security.
• Enhance Dev Ops processes including pipelines, monitoring, and test automation.
• Understand and implement enterprise cross-system integrations, event processing, and API interactions.
• Conduct product/solution evaluations including Salesforce capabilities and third-party offerings by creating prototypes and proof of concepts.

• Minimum 4 years of progressive technical and business experience developing enterprise-level applications, including full-stack  development.
• 2–3 years of experience in a Scrum team environment.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• SFDC Data Model knowledge across various clouds/products with strong data modeling expertise.
• Subject matter expertise in branching/code merging practices in GIT or equivalent repository.

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I & II, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant.
• Experience with Salesforce managed package evaluation, deployment, and upgrade processes.
• Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, etc.).
• Experience with other Salesforce products such as Mule Soft and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Google Cloud knowledge preferred.
