Application Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Hopkins, MN that is seeking an Application Developer. Ideally, this resource would work at the Hopkins, MN or Dallas, TX location, but any Technical Hub would also be acceptable.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with development, testing, implement and support of application systems

* Create and execute test transactions in line with test plans

* Code and test computer programs, working with detailed program specifications and utilizing standard procedures and techniques

* Assist technical staff with investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical problems related to system functions, programming, and procedures

* Develop detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple programs

* Document all procedures used in the system

REQUIREMENTS:

* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed

* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

Understanding in:

* Application Maintenance

* Application Testing

* System Testing

* Change control

* Kubernetes Environment

* Observability Tools:
Datadog, Quantum Metrics, Splunk

* Service Now

* Ansible Automation

* Power Shell

* Kubernetes Environment

* Cloud Environment:
Azure or AWS

Working experience in:

* System development life cycle

* Application development tools

* Programming

* Modeling: data, process, events, objects

* IT standards, procedures, policy

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
