Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead infrastructure and Dev Ops transformation initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role will drive projects spanning data center operations, cloud migration, server, storage, networking, automation, and platform engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing enterprise infrastructure projects and a solid understanding of Dev Ops practices and modern delivery methodologies.
This position is W‑2 only. We do not work with third‑party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure and platform‑related initiatives
- Manage projects involving data centers, servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including infrastructure, security, platform engineering, and application teams
- Drive modernization efforts and improve operational processes
- Support Dev Ops enablement initiatives including CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
- Provide project governance, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications
- Facilitate decision‑making and remove project blockers
- Ensure compliance with change management, risk, and audit requirements
- 7+ years of IT Project or Program Management experience
- Strong experience managing enterprise infrastructure projects
- Background supporting servers, networking, data centers, virtualization, storage, and backup systems
- Experience working with cross‑functional technical teams
- Strong understanding of ITIL‑based operational processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting Dev Ops, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Agile, Scrum, PMP, or PgMP certification
- Experience driving operational efficiency and automation programs
- Strategic Leadership and Ownership
