- Lead and develop a maintenance team of up to 25 team members through coaching and performance management.
- Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance department operations with consistent support to store locations.
- Manage maintenance expense and capital budgets, including cost tracking, variance analysis, forecasting, and regular reporting to leadership.
- Oversee vendor relationships by negotiating pricing, managing contracts, resolving service issues, and conducting semi‑annual vendor reviews.
- Develop and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime, reduce costs, and support store profitability.
- Review, verify, code, and approve maintenance invoices within delegated authority to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify, plan, and manage special and capital maintenance projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to company standards.
- Partner with Regional Directors of Operations and conduct site visits as needed to support field execution and address maintenance concerns.
- Support annual budget planning and long‑term asset management strategies.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain maintenance team members.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Perform additional duties that support the continued success of the region and facilities team.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Maintenance or facilities management experience within retail, convenience store, or multi‑site environments
- Prior leadership and project management experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, petroleum equipment, and general facility repair
- Experience creating and managing operating and capital budgets
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to store locations up to 50 percent of the time
- Relevant certifications preferred but not required
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard and mouse for data entry
- Ability to view computer monitors and communicate by phone
- Ability to reach forward and overhead and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and navigate field environments as needed
- Ability to work in both office and outdoor settings
- This role includes a mix of office-based and fieldwork.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions during site visits.
- Office environment includes moderate noise levels and standard lighting.
Work may occasionally include extended hours, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.
