Weekend 1st Shift Machine Operator Location/Region:
Hopkins, MN NEW Full Time Temp-to-Hire Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 6am-6:30 pm
Job Duties:
- Operate assigned production and manufacturing machines and auxiliary equipment including:
- Load and unload product or parts
- Adjust equipment as required to produce acceptable product
- Conduct quality checks to assure acceptability of product or process using standard precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprint
Knowledge of standard machine shop inspection equipment such as:
- Calipers, Micrometers, visual comparator and CMM.
- Utilize appropriate material handling to prevent degradation of product during the production process
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 20 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry out normal activities in a production environment
