About Carver Scott Humane Society

Carver Scott Humane Society (CSHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1989 to rescue and rehome cats and dogs in need. Since our founding, we have adopted a philosophy that focuses on addressing the underlying issues causing pet overpopulation and homelessness. Through this way of thinking and operating, we provide comprehensive services to better the lives of the pets and their families in the Twin Cities.

In addition to these services, which enable people to keep their pets in their homes, we provide rescue and rehoming for nearly 1,000 cats and dogs each year.

Our Mission

Connecting animals in need with people who care.
